Cord

Californian Errett Lobban Cord had already acquired Auburn and Duesenberg before establishing the Cord marque.  Cars had front-wheel drive and were built at Auburn, Indiana from 1929-1931 and 1935-1937.  The L-29 was followed by the radical 810, designed by Gordon Buehrig.
