Darracq

Alexandre Darracq was a very successful bicycle manufacturer before his first car was produced in 1896.  His company became the second largest constructor of cars in France.  Vehicles were also built in Great Britain and Italy before production ceased in 1920.  A Darracq later appeared, together with a Spyker, in the 1953 film “Genevieve” about the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run.
