Brothers John & Horace Dodge built bicycles at first, then parts for other companies before their first car appeared in 1914.  The great success of their business made them multi-millionaires before they both died in 1920.  The company was sold to Chrysler in 1928.  Today, the Michigan-based Dodge Company exports its vehicles to most countries worldwide.
