Fisker Automotive was founded by Henrik Fisker and Bernhard Koehler in 2007.  Based at Anaheim, California, the company produced the Fisker Karma, a luxury plug-in hybrid vehicle. In 2014 the company was bought by the Chinese Wanxiang Group.
