Carrozzeria Fissore was founded in 1919 by Antonio, Bernardo, Giovanni & Costanzo Fissore.  This coachbuilding firm worked on many different types of vehicles over decades, including the one-off 1971 Diplomat, based on an Opel.  The company was based at Savigliano near Turin.
