The first car to carry the name Georges Irat appeared in 1921 and was built at Seine-et-Oise.  Never a volume-producer of cars, manufacture nevertheless continued steadily for many years with Georges Irat’s son Michel, also involved with the business.  Manufacture continued until 1953 with a jeep-type vehicle made in Morocco.
