Grégoire (1945-1962)

Engineer and racing driver Jean Albert Grégoire was a motoring pioneer in the use of front-wheel drive and vehicles using aluminium bodywork.  Beginning his own company in 1945, one of the concept cars he produced was the 1952 Socema-Grégoire Turbine, believed to be the world’s first gas turbine GT.  His company later closed in 1962.
