American car dealer Jack Griffith experimented with putting large engines into TVR sports cars between 1963 and 1965.  The Griffith Series 600 then followed with bodywork designed by Intermeccanica and powered by a Plymouth V8 engine.  Only a few were built before the project was sold to another company and the cars were renamed “Omega”.
