Innocenti

Ferdinando Innocenti’s company made scooters before beginning to manufacture cars in 1961.  These were built under licence – their most popular model being the Mini.  In 1971 British Leyland took over, with ownership of the company later passing to Alessandro de Tomaso and then on to FIAT.  The last cars to be badged as Innocentis were built in 1996.
