Formed from the merger of two companies, Daimler and Benz in 1926, Daimler-Benz AG has established a well-deserved reputation for building quality automobiles over many decades.  A wide range of vehicles is manufactured for both passenger and commercial use and the name “Mercedes-Benz” is known worldwide.  As well as road-going cars Mercedes-Benz have been very successful participants in Grand Prix racing, especially in the 1930’s & 1950’s and again from 2012 onwards.  The company is based in Stuttgart where it also has an excellent Museum.
