Belgian company Minerva were based in Antwerp from 1899 and manufactured cars until 1939.  Founded by Dutchman Sylvain de Jong, these vehicles were of  high-quality.   Later, commercial vehicles were built and after WW II, Land Rovers were made under licence until 1953.
