NAMI

Designed at the Auto-Motor Institute (the NAMI) in Moscow, the NAMI-1 was built between 1927 & 1931 and powered by a 2 cylinder air-cooled engine.  This car was followed by the NATI-2 which had a 4 cylinder engine.  In the 1940’s the NATI AR-NATI Jeep was produced and in 1955, the NAMI-050 “Belka”, which is the Russian name for squirrel.
