The extraordinary Phantom Corsair was built by Rust Heinz in 1937 in California.  The vehicle was based on a Cord Model 810 and powered by a V-8 Lycoming engine.  The bodywork was by coachbuilders Bohman & Schwarz.  Only one car was built.
