Reliant Engineering – based in Staffordshire – brought out their first car in 1952.  This 3-wheeled model was called the Regal and was followed by the Robin and then the Rialto.  In 1964, the company launched the Scimitar which was built in a range of versions until 1986.  The company ceased trading in 2002.
