REO are the initials of Ransom Eli Olds who founded the company in 1904 after he left the Olds Motor Works.  Based in Michigan the firm manufactured a variety of different vehicles, including cars, commercial vehicles and trucks.  The last cars badged as Reo were built in the late 1930’s.
