Engineer Lucien Rosengart (1881-1976) had acquired a great deal of experience in the automotive industry before beginning his own company in 1928.  The first car was an Austin Seven built under licence.  Other small cars followed as well as the elegant Supertraction model.  The last cars to be badged as Rosengart were produced in 1955.
