The Scotte was a steam-powered vehicle built in France in 1892.  It could seat six people and had a top speed of about 6 mph.  Only one example exists which can be seen at Le Musée Henri Malartre, near Lyons.  The foresight of Henri Malartre resulted in the preservation of many early and rare French cars.
