Stutz (1911-1935)

Harry Clayton Stutz founded his company in Indianapolis in 1911, his first car finishing 11th in the inaugural Indy 500 motor race.  The company’s vehicles had many sporting successes, particularly with their Bearcat model.  Harry Stutz left his firm in 1919 but cars bearing his name continued to be built until the late 1930’s.
