The Torino was built in Argentina by Industrias Kaiser Argentina (later Renault Argentina SA) from 1966 until 1981.  Based on an American Rambler, the car was powered by a 3.8 litre 6 cylinder engine and was very popular amongst Argentinian drivers – Juan Manuel Fangio owned a Torino 380S that was built in 1970.
