TVR

TVR was founded in Blackpool in 1954 by Trevor Wilkinson, the name coming from his company TreVoR Engineering.  Over decades, the firm has specialised in  building lightweight sports cars – both coupes and convertibles – for both road and racing.  Trevor Wilkinson left the company in 1962 and since then there have been many changes of ownership.  The latest models are to be built in Wales.
