Veritas

Veritas is the Latin name for “truth”.  The company was founded in 1947 by Germans Ernst Loof, Georg Meier and Lorenz Dietrich and concentrated on building sports cars for both road and track.  Their racing cars were very successful and were widely used in Germany, and also in France & Belgium where they were called Meteor.  Vehicles were powered at first by BMW engines and then those built by Heinkel.
